Cutting 2" flat stock |
After spending days scribbling details of design possibilities on napkins I drove to the local steel yard to purchase the materials for the project. As usually, I went with over building, using 2" angle stock for the top and shelf frames, and 2" square stock for the legs.
I hired a friend (a professional welder) to cut most of the materials to length with his steel cutting setup. Then I focused on just cutting the small bar stock with my mini angle grinder.
